How is Duncton Parish Council funded?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our funding is allocated by Chichester District Council (CDC)<\/strong> and is taken from the area\u2019s council tax; called an Annual Precept. The income and expenditure for the next financial year are calculated in the form of estimates and this amount is added to residents local council tax and then returned to us in two yearly instalments. We inform CDC how much precept we require on an annual basis in January once the budget has been agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
