    Traffic Calming Update

    Speed Indicator Device & Village Gates Duncton Parish Council has been progressing two projects aimed at improving road safety and encouraging drivers to slow down through the village. New Speed Indicator Device (SID) The Council has now ordered a new solar-powered Speed Indicator Device (SID) following approval from West Sussex County Council. The SID will be used between two approved locations within the village, rather than remaining permanently in one position. Moving the device periodically allows us to target different approaches through the village and helps to maintain its effectiveness with regular drivers.     A285 Water Leak

    Residents may be aware of the ongoing roadside water leak at the north end of the village. The leak has been reported to Southern Water on a number of occasions. Despite the water continuing to flow, previous reports have subsequently been shown as repaired or closed, which has understandably caused some confusion and concern. West Sussex Highways has also been contacted and has advised that it believes the water is originating from a Southern Water asset on the footpath.
